Situat al Pla de l\u2019Eixample de la ciutat de Barcelona ideat per l\u2019enginyer Ildefons Cerd\u00e0, l\u2019Hospital t\u00e9 una llarga traject\u00f2ria hist\u00f2rica. Durant m\u00e9s de sis-cents anys, ha passat per diferents etapes: des de la benefic\u00e8ncia medieval, el naixement de les especialitats m\u00e8diques modernes o la incorporaci\u00f3 de l\u2019higienisme, amb la construcci\u00f3 del Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau de Llu\u00eds Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner, fins al model assistencial actual. Durant aquests m\u00e9s de sis segles, l\u2019Hospital ha tingut tres ubicacions diferents i s\u2019ha transformat mantenint en tot moment l\u2019esperit humanista de dedicaci\u00f3 a la salut i a les persones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualment, Sant Pau t\u00e9 unes instal\u00b7lacions capdavanteres i innovadores, i amb una gran capacitat de creixement.
