Durant dos segles, va ser resid\u00e8ncia de la fam\u00edlia Sagarra (de l\u2019escriptor Josep Maria de Sagarra), que a inicis del segle XX en va modificar profundament l'estructura i va fer servir el ma\u00f3 vist en arcades neog\u00f2tiques, i es disposa perpendicularment a la fa\u00e7ana antiga. La restauraci\u00f3 (1982) \u00e9s respectuosa amb els murs originals i no es planteja arqueol\u00f2gicament (escala, muntatge museogr\u00e0fic...).
