Una d&#8217;elles \u00e9s l&#8217;empresa &#8220;&#8221;Aguas del Bajo Vall\u00e8s&#8221;&#8221; que va fer aquesta infraestructura amb una longitud de 18 quil\u00f2metres i una capacitat de 1.700 metres c\u00fabics d\u2019aigua diaris. L&#8217;obra fou impulsada per Andreu Mar\u00ed, empresari que tenia drets d&#8217;aigua a les rieres del Ripoll i Caldes i finan\u00e7at pel banquer Manel Girona.<br \/>\nL&#8217;any 1881 l&#8217;empresa \u00e9s venuda a la &#8220;&#8221;Compagnie des Eaux de Barcelone&#8221;&#8221; que ja explotava l&#8217;aigua de Dosrius.
